TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to purchases and use of lakara.shop. The seller is LAKARA CO., LTD., Company Registration No. 0205569041441, registered at 29/1117 Moo 12, Nong Prue, Bang Lamung, Chon Buri 20150, Thailand (“Lakara”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
IMPORTANT PURCHASE INFORMATION
- Product colors may look different because of photography, lighting, screen settings and device color reproduction.
- Different product or ring sizes may reasonably differ in stone count, stone size, placement, proportions or small construction details while preserving the overall design.
- The customer is responsible for selecting the intended product, variation and size and for using and caring for the purchase appropriately.
- Lakara calculates the shipping charge shown at checkout. International import duties, taxes, customs charges and brokerage fees are the customer’s responsibility unless checkout expressly says otherwise.
- An order may be cancelled before dispatch. After dispatch, the Shipping & Delivery and Returns & Warranty Policies apply.
- Lakara’s voluntary return process is for a new product with a confirmed manufacturing defect, an incorrect item or confirmed delivery damage. Mandatory consumer rights always remain available.
1. SCOPE AND ACCEPTANCE
By placing an order, creating an account or using a service that expressly refers to these Terms, you agree to the version presented at that time. Links beside an acceptance checkbox allow you to read the relevant document before agreeing. The Shipping & Delivery Policy, Returns & Warranty Policy, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy form part of the relevant relationship where applicable.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
2. PRODUCTS AND MANUFACTURE
Lakara jewelry is produced in the Gemopolis Industrial Estate / Free Zone in Bangkok, Thailand. Product pages describe the material, plated finish, stones, available variations and other principal characteristics. Product names, collection descriptions and editorial language do not create a technical guarantee beyond the stated product description and mandatory law.
3. PRODUCT IMAGES AND REASONABLE VARIATIONS
We take reasonable care to present products accurately. Nevertheless, photography, lighting, image processing, browser settings and screen color reproduction may cause the color seen online to differ from the physical product.
Jewelry may also show reasonable production tolerances. Different sizes may require a different number or size of stones, adjusted placement, proportions, thicknesses or small construction details. Natural or manufactured stones may have slight visual differences. These disclosed variations do not by themselves mean that a product is defective, provided the product materially corresponds to the agreed description and overall design.
4. SIZE AND SELECTION
The customer must review the selected product, plating, stone color, size, quantity and delivery information before payment. Size guides are guidance and do not replace an individual measurement. The customer is responsible for choosing the intended size, except where Lakara supplied an incorrect product or applicable law provides otherwise.
5. AVAILABILITY AND ORDER FORMATION
We sell products and variations shown as in stock. Adding an item to the basket does not reserve it. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt of the order but does not guarantee fulfilment if there is a payment, stock, pricing or technical error. The order is accepted when Lakara confirms acceptance or dispatches it, subject to mandatory law.
If an in-stock record is incorrect and the item cannot be supplied, Lakara will contact the customer and provide an appropriate solution, including cancellation and refund where necessary.
6. PRICES, PAYMENT AND PROMOTIONS
Prices are shown in Thai baht unless the site expressly displays another currency. The amount payable, shipping charge and any tax collected by Lakara are shown before the order is submitted. Payment is processed by the payment method selected at checkout and may be subject to that provider’s security checks and terms.
A promotion, discount or gift may have specific conditions. Promotions cannot be combined unless expressly stated. Lakara may correct an obvious pricing or technical error before accepting an order, without limiting rights required by law.
7. SHIPPING, IMPORT CHARGES AND DELIVERY
Orders are normally processed and handed to a third-party carrier within 3 business days or less. Order processing is carried out on business days between 10:00 and 17:00 Bangkok time (ICT); orders received outside those hours begin processing during the next business period. Carrier transit time is separate and is not controlled by Lakara. Full details appear in the Shipping & Delivery Policy.
For international delivery, the customer is responsible for import duties, import VAT, customs-clearance charges, brokerage fees and similar destination charges unless checkout expressly includes them. Refusal or non-payment may result in return, delay and additional costs.
8. CANCELLATION
A customer may request cancellation before dispatch by contacting info@lakara.shop. Once the order has been handed to the carrier, cancellation may no longer be possible and the Returns & Warranty Policy and mandatory law apply.
9. RETURNS, DEFECTS AND REFUNDS
Lakara does not offer a voluntary change-of-mind return for a correct, non-defective product except where mandatory law requires otherwise. Our assessment process covers a new product with a confirmed manufacturing defect, an incorrect item supplied by Lakara or confirmed pre-delivery/transit damage. See the Returns & Warranty Policy.
10. CARE, USE AND CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
Jewelry must be handled, worn, cleaned and stored appropriately. Plating is a surface finish and may naturally change through wear, friction, skin chemistry, moisture, cosmetics and chemical exposure. Care guidance is available in our Jewelry Care Guide.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lakara is not responsible for damage, loss or injury caused by misuse, impact, excessive force, unsuitable sizing, improper storage, unauthorised repair or alteration, chemical exposure, failure to follow care guidance, or use of a product for a purpose for which it was not intended. This does not limit responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.
11. PRIVATE AND CUSTOM ORDERS
Private, personalised, engraved, resized, specially sourced or custom-made orders are agreed directly with the customer and may have specific price, payment, production, delivery, cancellation and return terms. Those specific written terms prevail for that order where they differ from these standard Terms, subject to mandatory law.
12. ACCOUNTS AND MEMBERSHIP
You must provide accurate information, keep login credentials confidential and notify us of suspected unauthorised access. Membership benefits, communications and eligibility may be governed by additional terms shown when the benefit is offered. Transactional order information is separate from optional marketing subscription.
13. WEBSITE USE
You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, interfere with operation, scrape protected content unlawfully, impersonate another person or use the site for fraud or unlawful activity. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance or protection of customers and systems.
14. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Lakara names, logos, product designs, photographs, text, graphics and other site content are owned by or licensed to Lakara and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. No right is granted except the limited right to use the site for personal shopping and information.
15. LIABILITY
Lakara remains responsible for obligations and liabilities that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that rule, Lakara is not liable for an indirect or unforeseeable loss, a loss caused by the customer’s acts or omissions, or delay caused by events outside Lakara’s reasonable control. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or another matter that applicable law prohibits us from excluding.
16. PRIVACY AND COOKIES
Personal data is handled as explained in the Privacy Policy. Cookies and similar technologies are explained in the Cookie Policy. Marketing choices are optional and may be changed using an unsubscribe link or available account preference.
17. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
The Terms applicable to an accepted order are the version presented when that order was placed, unless a change is required by law or agreed with the customer. We may update the website version for future use and will show the update date.
18. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Courts or authorities with mandatory jurisdiction retain that jurisdiction, and mandatory consumer protections applicable to the customer are not displaced by this clause. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern promptly.
