Art Without the Distance
We create both expressive art objects and pieces rooted in classic jewelry forms — always with a point of view.
Intricate, stone-rich designs are often produced only in gold and precious gemstones because the design work, engineering and setting are exceptionally demanding. We believe that artistic ambition should not belong only to objects kept at a distance.
By combining precise 3D development, stone-in-place casting, carefully chosen jewelry materials and skilled hand-finishing, our teams preserve complexity, color and character while making the finished piece more accessible and practical to wear.
Accessible does not mean ordinary, disposable or designed around the lowest possible price. It means giving more people the freedom to live with expressive design, choose a piece that feels personal and use jewelry as a genuine form of self-expression.

Every Lakara piece is a collaboration between our design team, 3D team and technology team.
The design team defines the idea, emotion, proportion and visual rhythm. The 3D team translates that vision into an exact structure, resolving scale, settings, movement and every point of contact. The technology team determines how the piece can be cast, assembled, finished and made dependable in real life.
We are Thai, and our work grows from the meeting of Thai visual culture, contemporary technology and an instinct for color. The result is not tradition reproduced literally, but a living design language created here and intended for anyone who wants to say something through what they wear.
The making of a piece
From Idea to Object
Every Lakara piece moves from intuition to precision — an idea shaped through drawing, digital engineering and the hands of skilled makers.
Design
Every piece begins with an idea. We explore proportion, color, volume and the relationship between metal and stones. Rather than beginning with a fixed formula, the construction develops around the object we want to create.
Engineering
The drawing becomes a precise 3D model. At this stage, visual rhythm meets structure: settings, surfaces, balance and scale are resolved so that an intricate object can be produced beautifully and worn comfortably.
We refine thickness, weight and every point of contact before the piece moves into production.
Comfort and function are engineered from the beginning. We consider the center of gravity, weight distribution and balance, as well as how the back and side of a piece look while it is being worn. A design must work from every angle, not only in its front-facing photograph.
Color, light, performance
Materials With a Purpose
We choose every material for what it brings to the design — brilliance, color, strength, comfort or preciousness.
There is no material hierarchy in the studio: each choice is evaluated by how well it supports the object, the finish and the experience of wearing it.
Cubic Zirconia & Nano Stones
Selected for clarity, consistency and an exceptional range of color, these lab-grown stones give us the freedom to build dense pavé, precise patterns and vivid combinations while keeping the finished piece suited to everyday life.
Designed to Be Worn
Our jewelry alloys are chosen with construction, durability and weight in mind. Even visually generous pieces are engineered for balance, so presence does not come at the expense of comfort.
Precious Materials
Selected designs are finished with precious-metal plating, including yellow gold, rose gold, platinum and ruthenium. Each finish is considered as part of the composition, changing how color, shadow and light move across the piece.

Stones Set Before Casting
Our approach begins long before the metal is cast.
The stones are placed into the wax model first. They withstand the casting temperature and become permanently integrated into the finished design.
The technique lets us create intricate, stone-rich surfaces while keeping the result wearable rather than turning it into an object meant only for display.

We don’t decide which version is supposed to be the one.
Different metal finishes and stone colors let the same form carry a completely different mood. Pink stones with ruthenium? White stones with rose gold? Color everywhere?

Our teams create one-of-a-kind jewelry and objects for private clients, brands, interiors, museums, exhibitions and special events — from a personal piece built around an exceptional stone or story to a limited edition, collaboration, award or substantial custom series.
A commission may begin with an idea, a material, a place or a technical challenge. We shape the entire project around its purpose, managing creative direction, research, design development, material and gemstone selection, 3D engineering, prototyping, production, hand-finishing and final quality control.
